Nuvo Physio (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and other applicable privacy legislation.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. When you book an appointment or contact us through a form on this website, we collect the details you submit — such as your name, email address, telephone number, and any health-related information you choose to share so we can assist you.
- Information collected automatically. If you accept non-essential cookies, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how our site is used and which advertisements lead to bookings. If you decline, Google Analytics still records an anonymous, cookie-free page count that cannot identify you or your device.
How we use your information
We use your information to schedule and provide physiotherapy services, respond to your inquiries, manage our relationship with you, and improve our website and services. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit our site you are asked to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in a cookie named nuvo_consent for one year, and can be changed at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in our footer.
Set at all times (strictly necessary). nuvo_consent, which records your choice, and pll_language, which remembers your language preference. On the pages that carry a form — our contact page and our job application pages — Google reCAPTCHA also sets _GRECAPTCHA to distinguish genuine visitors from automated submissions; without it we cannot protect those forms from abuse. It is not loaded on any other page.
Set only after you accept. Analytics and advertising cookies from Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta (Facebook). If you decline, no Meta cookies are set at all.
Third parties who receive data from this website
- Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google LLC) — anonymous usage statistics, and measurement of which advertisements lead to bookings.
- Meta Platforms — a Meta advertising pixel, active only after you accept cookies. It records that a visit to our website occurred. It does not receive the address of the specific page you viewed.
- Google reCAPTCHA (Google LLC) — protection against automated submissions, on our contact and job application forms only.
- Elle Santé — our booking platform. When you click to book an appointment you leave this website, and the information you provide is handled under Elle Santé’s own privacy terms.
These providers may process data outside Quebec, including in the United States.
What we never share
We do not send your name, email address, telephone number, appointment details, or any information about your health or the reason for your visit to any advertising or analytics provider. Which health condition pages you read is not transmitted to advertisers.
Data retention
We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law and applicable professional regulations.
Your rights
Under Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@nuvophys.io, or contact us through our contact page.
